Agoura Advanced Dentistry offers All-on-4® dental implants for Thousand Oaks patients, about 15 minutes away in Agoura Hills. All-on-4 replaces a full arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed bridge held by four implants, and in many cases you leave surgery with fixed temporary teeth the same day. Dr. Kambiz Kamangar, DDS, plans every case with 3D cone-beam imaging. Call (818) 874-3533 or book a consultation online.

Is All-on-4 Right for You?

All-on-4 is designed for people who need to replace most or all of the teeth in an arch. It is often a good fit if you:

  • Wear dentures and are tired of slipping, adhesives and taking them out at night.
  • Have failing teeth across an arch from gum disease, fractures or worn-out dental work.
  • Have been told you lack the bone for implants. The two back implants are angled into denser bone, which often avoids grafting.
  • Want fixed teeth you brush and care for, not a denture you remove.

If you are missing only one to three teeth, single implants or an implant bridge are usually the better choice.

All-on-4 or All-on-6?

Both give you a fixed full arch. All-on-6 uses six implants per arch instead of four, which spreads the bite over more support. It is often recommended for more bone loss, a strong bite, or grinding. Your 3D scan and bite check decide which one Dr. Kam recommends. See the full All-on-4 guide for a side-by-side table.

Your All-on-4 Treatment, Step by Step

  1. Consultation and 3D scan. We map your jaw in 3D, check your bite and plan the implant positions and the new teeth before any surgery.
  2. Surgery day. Under local anesthesia, with sedation if you prefer, we remove any failing teeth, place four implants and, in many cases, attach a fixed temporary bridge. Surgery usually takes about 2 to 4 hours per arch.
  3. Healing, about 3 to 6 months. The implants fuse with the bone. You start on soft foods and widen your diet as you heal.
  4. Final bridge. Once healing is confirmed, we fit your final bridge, usually in acrylic or zirconia. Dr. Kam will explain which suits your bite.
  5. Ongoing care. Cleanings and checkups every six months, like natural teeth.

What Affects the Cost of All-on-4?

You get one all-inclusive, written fee after your 3D consultation. What changes it from one patient to the next:

  • How many teeth you are replacing and how many implants that takes.
  • The type of restoration: one arch or both, and an acrylic or zirconia final bridge.
  • Extractions needed first, and how involved they are.
  • Bone grafting if the bone is too thin to hold an implant.
  • Materials for the final teeth, and sedation if you would like it.

Insurance and financing

We accept dental insurance. Coverage varies, but many plans pay toward part of treatment, such as the exam, imaging, extractions or the restoration. Our team checks your benefits before you commit, and we offer financing so you can spread payments over time.
